Joe Townend
Joe was born in Huddersfield,1946 and always had a love of art - and railways in particular. For 25 years was a successful pub sign artist, now turned professional railway artist. A love of railways can be seen in his detailed oil paintings of the steam railways, especially of the nostalgic scenes of his native Yorkshire.
On March 12th, Joe was accepted as an associate member into the Guild of Railway Artists
