I have always enjoyed making art, and my enthusiasm for it began as a child. I went on to study Interior Design at the University of Plymouth and since then I have followed the path of creativity, running my own sign writing business for several years before taking the plunge to finally start working as an artist. Since then I have taken part in exhibitions, run art workshops and had the pleasure of selling my work throughout the UK and internationally.
Working as an artist has offered me many exciting opportunities, and as well as producing smaller commissions for individuals, I have also been involved in designing and creating huge murals for large retail units in Ireland as well as for a 400 year old pub in South Devon. I am inspired by many things; the sea, lighthouses, islands, beach huts and boats. I also love nature, people and children and as time goes on I find myself working in a much more illustrative way and very much from the depths of my imagination.
