Born and still living in Whitby, Christine Pybus has had a lifelong passion for painting, always creating new images whenever possible alongside working in communications. Increasing success with her painting allowed her in 1997 to become a full time artist.
She paints in both oil and watercolour and has painted in Europe, Russia, Australia and New Zealand. Christine Pybus also indulges in talks and writing on art history, painting courses, and demonstrations. Christine Pybus also frequently writes for ‘Leisure Painter’ Magazine and has been included in a Sky Television documentary.
Past notable exhibitions of Christine Pybus’ work includes the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Exhibition and the Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition both at The Mall Galleries London.
