Harrison Lord Gallery launches 2017 exhibition programme
The Harrison Lord Gallery in Brighouse has this week launched its exhibition programme for 2017 and there’s lots to look forward to. Gallery owner Steven Lord said “2017 is going to be a landmark year for the Harrison Lord Gallery. This is our most exciting programme of exhibitions to date. Our growing reputation as a great venue for seeing contemporary original art means that we can attract the best artists in the North to exhibit. The market for original artwork is ever increasing and in this age of mass production an original one off piece of art is to be valued and cherished.”
The exciting programme of exhibitions will showcase the highest calibre of works by local and national masters. Building on their established success, the gallery, which won the prestigious “independent gallery of the year” award two years ago, will launch the 2017 programme with an opening show unveiling key new works by Brighouse artist Neville Fleetwood. Neville is a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and has made a name for himself in London galleries and regularly exhibits in galleries around the country. His bold use of colour brings dramatic life to the Yorkshire landscape he loves to paint. Neville is being joined by Paddy Campbell, Paul Talbot-Greaves and Matt Turner. The exhibition opens on Saturday 4th February.
